Two out of three ain’t bad…

I woke up early, had two pepto-bismol, and decided to go exploring, based on The Top 10 Things To Do And See In LA’s Koreatown.

My responsibilities became immediately apparent: to find the exact location of Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong, to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood sign (cleverly mentioned as an afterthought at the end of the article), and to avoid drinking coffee, given the fragility of my stomach.

It turns out, KHDB is in Chapman Plaza, which is literally (and I mean the proper ‘literally’) next door to the building where we are staying. We will go on the latest night possible, so as not to compromise the experience by not feeling well.

As far as I can tell, the Hollywood sign is not visible from the corner of Wiltshire and Ardmore. I had to walk a good distance up Ardmore to actually catch a glimpse of it, and was inordinately thrilled when I did.

I went to buy a coffee for Eva, and ended up with a medium Café Latte of my own from Paris Baguette, which isn’t unlike our Bread Top. The medium was stunningly large, and not half bad.

I regret nothing.
